Emerald Harbor Marine is proud to be the distributor for Spectra Watermakers for the Northwest. These 12 and 24 volt DC systems and AC systems provide the highest fresh water output with the least power consumption in their class. These systems are capable of making 200 to 1000 or more gallons of water per day.
Spectra Ventura 150
This compact watermaker is ideal for installation in limited spaces on smaller cruising and racing vessels. The Ventura 150 difference is its energy efficiency, light weight, and self-regulating system. It runs on 12 or 24 VDC and delivers over six gallons of fresh product water (24 liters) per hour. Add Spectra's MPC-3000 controller for one-touch control and monitoring. The Ventura is affordable, yet offers all the great Spectra features. |
The Catalina 300 is affordable, lightweight, and compact. It is easy to install, simple to use, quiet, and very energy efficient, and it will deliver 12.5 gallons (47 liters) per hour while running on 15 amps at 12 volts DC. The optional MPC-3000 controller controller provides one-touch control and monitoring. Spectra’s exclusive high pressure Intensifier maintains the proper pressures in the system’s membrane throughout a wide range of ocean temperatures and water conditions. Catalina 300’s modular construction allows for easy owner installation. |
Spectra’s Newport AquaFlex Systems feature a wide range of operating voltages, MPC-3000 controller, simplified plug and play installation, flexible mounting options, and ease of operation. Using the Spectra High-Pressure Intensifier technology, the Newport is ultra quiet and produces 400 gallons, 700 gallons, or 1000 gallons of water per day using a 1/3, 1/2, or 3/4 horsepower motor respectively. Designed with easy installation in mind, system modules are pre-plumbed and pre-wired. |
The Watermachine Turbine Series utilizes a quiet water cooled turbine pump rated at 40,000 continuous duty hours. With one-button operation, this unit fills and controls tank levels, monitors salinity, filter and sea-strainer condition, and alerts you to potential problems and necessary actions. Rugged construction is based on a single welded stainless powder coated frame. Quick-release panels allow easy access. Membrane and Spectra High-Pressure Intensifier modules can be split from the main frame for more flexible mounting options. |
The MPC-3000's one-touch control and monitoring adds care-free operation to any Spectra Watermaker. One touch of the auto run button on the MPC-3000 touch pad sets the watermaker in motion. The MPC-3000 controller produces the desired amount of water or fills your water tanks full, then flushes the watermaker system with fresh water and shuts off. If you don't use the watermaker, the controller will flush it every five days. Just set it and forget it! |

Spectra's revolutionary Z-Guard™ has solved the problem of acid washing and de-scaling chillers, air conditioners, and condensers. Apply it directly to your intake raw water to permanently prevent scaling and biological fouling, the principle cause of failure in water circulating equipment. Long thought to be unavoidable, the origin of fouling varies and can be mineral, biological or a combination of both. Bio-film is the slick coating or slime produced on wet surfaces by microbes. A thin layer of bio-film usually coats the interior of piping, strainers, heat exchangers and other equipment when exposed to water. This bio-film provides both habitat and food supply for a range of bacteria and scale forming compounds. The Z-Guard™ will eliminate conditions that foster biofouling, scaling and barnacle growth. |

Spectra Watermakers Inc. introduces a final solution to the problem of Watermachines storage with the revolutionary Z-Brane™. The proven Z-Guard™ technology is designed to change the way Watermachines are used and maintained forever by eliminating the need for chemicals to clean and store membranes. Spectra now is applying the technology directly to the watermachine membrane to prevent scaling and biological fouling, the principle cause of membrane failure in reverse osmosis systems. |
Fouling has been labeled as unavoidable by many sources. The origin of fouling varies and can be mineral, biological or a combination of both.Bio-film is the slick coating or slime found on wetted surfaces produced by many types of microbes. A thin layer of bio-film usually coats the interior of piping, filters and membranes when exposed to water. This bio-film provides both habitat and food supply for a range of bacteria and scale forming compounds. Bio-film is the cause of odors and discoloration in pre-filters and storage tanks. The Z-Brane™ will eliminate conditions that foster bio-fouling and scaling.
